Joe's says farewell in Plaza
Almeria building, downtown
Huntington Beach. Council member
Joe Carchio sold his business to

For months Joe has been mum
about his transition out of the
food business, something that's
been in his blood for
years...he's Italian after all! Martini
Blues closed, and became Octane
Alley. It is closed. As
Martini Blues it served up blues,
rock and comedy for over five
years. Under new ownership the
jazz and comedy club, plus sports bar is
located in the Marina Shopping
Center on Edinger and
Springdale. Pizza Time
Buffet (formerly Apple
A'Peal), which was closed
and deserted, caught on
fire, completely demolishing and
gutting the building on
Springdale and Edinger Ave.
Robbie Armstrong, local
